My Passion As An Web Evangelist

My name is Rudy Chou and I’m a web evangelist. I didn’t study to be a programmer, developer, coder, designer, or graphic artist.

However, I eat, sleep, breathe designing for the web.

I specialize in the tools for programming to rapidly hand-code HTML and CSS. Coda? Espresso? Textmate? Check all three.

As for graphics, I navigate through Adobe Creative Suites with ease between Photoshop and Illustrator with ease.

As a professional, I will help you build and establish your business, brand and presence on the Internet. Most importantly, understand and improve the user’s experience with your business.

How It All Started

Here’s a brief history of my background. It all begins with my first homepage built on Geocities in 1995. It then branches out to a couple others free hosting websites (Angelfire and Tripod). Truly, this was just a hobby at first.

Ditching cookie-cutter template designs forced me to learn to code by hand with text editors. It was exciting to learn HTML tags and let lines of code turn into a visual page.

I became locally known as a web designer in San Gabriel Valley helping many friends, family, and local businesses set up their websites.

This passion has driven me to continue learning, tweaking, theming, building, designing, developing, analyzing websites.

I always just follow one simple principle motto: basic design, simple methods.

Basic Design, Simple Methods

Our approach to visual design for websites is keeping methods simple and offering elegant and professional designs that meet the most basic user needs.

By sticking to our principle motto, we establish this criteria with our clients. Technology can be difficult but we keep it simple. Our communication and project management methods is one you will be comfortable with.

For design, we like to keep things basic. Basic is not boring but basic is sticking to your business goals. If your intent is to introduce your company and build its brand then our goal is to make sure that users will be able to find your business on any search engine and navigate through your website pages successfully with ease.

Have you noticed the past few years, web design have taken a more minimalist approach? They are just following through on the motto we set out to do. Whether you are in Los Angeles or not, we can help establish your business on the Internet by building and designing a website that aligns with your goals.
