As a creative, you will see a photo that is pretty good to begin with, however, there are minor details that makes it flawed.
A good example is this photo of this lady sitting at the pool; when turned 90 degrees, it appears that she’s sitting on a ledge and there is a wall of water.
Unfortunately, there are people as well as other distractions in this photo that take away that wall of water sensation.
It’s always a fun hobby to take a cool photo like this and make it even better.
This is the original photo.
This is after editing.
Everything was done in Photoshop CS4 using masks, patch tool and healing brush as well as rotating a layer to make the lady’s head look as if she’s not struggling to keep still in water.
Here’s a side by side comparison. What do you... Continue Reading...

Take a look at this photo mural that expands for a hundred meters. It is titled “We’re All Gonna Die“. I found it interestingly unique and fascinating as it was shot from the same location over a span of twenty days. There are some interesting expressions put together.
I particularly found the two people with the eye patches (one with it over their right eye and the other over their left) to be funny. I wonder if the shot was taken at the same time of a couple or if it was pieced together through thousands of photos taken in those twenty days. Regardless, I found it interestingly enough to share and put my thoughts on it.
What do you think about it?

Last year I found a good deal on a Wacom Bamboo tablet and thought it would be fun to have. I’ve always loved to draw, sketch, and trace. I also loved to mess around with Photoshop and Illustrator. As you know, if you been reading since the beginning, I want to get into web development; but its been taking much longer and its more of a hobby.
Anyways, here are some of my sketching I made using Photoshop.

I’m not a huge fan of Valentine’s Day because I feel it is overated and every day can be treated as something special. However, I still needed to show my appreciation to my lovely wife by spending quality time with her. I had wanted to go have dinner at Ruth’s Chris because I felt I wanted to treat both of us to a nice steak and lobster dinner. Alas, since I did not plan ahead to make reservations, it was fully booked. No presents were bought either. Given a particular budget, I became inspired to do a Valentine’s Day activity instead. In the end, I decided we can spend a day doing something we were both unfamiliar with and something we can do together. Best of all, it will help along decorating our place making it feel more vibrant with life and color.
We... Continue Reading...

One of the main draws to my condo is the openness it had and with stairs leading to an open kitchen/dining area, it felt like a loft. The main flaw to it being open is from the front entry way, you are able to see right into the living space and to the living area’s patio glass sliding door. It left me with only one wall to face the sofa (which did not feel quite right) and to put a tv and left little room to move. After watching countless hours of HGTV, I decided to renovate my living room area and create a wall separating the entry way and the living area thus enclosing my living area creating a more cozy feel to it. Below are the pictures from the project with captions detailing what was done. Hope you enjoy!
As you can see, this is what you will see from the living room... Continue Reading...
