Great Photoshop tutorial for photorealistic painting

My attempt at a photorealistic lamp. I’ve been spending more time in Photoshop recently starting first with sketching on a tablet. I recently switched from using all CS2 products to CS3 so I am still getting familiar with it. Yes, I am far, far behind since CS4 is already out but I probably will never need those new features. I was able to get some sketches down but I needed to learn some techniques to paint. As usual, I would Google everything scouring the net for tutorials, walkthroughs, and videos on some of these tips.
